Detail from banner 1 of the Great Ends of the Church Series. "The proclamation of the Gospel for the salvation of humankind."
The banners are a wonderful addition to the beauty and decor of our church. When they were presented on a weekly basis and hung in the sanctuary, we thought they couldn't be better from one week to the next, but they were!" Member of the Main Street Presbyterian Church of Petersburg, Indiana.

"ABUNDANT LIFE"
Click on image for detail of "The Word"
"Restoration and Increase"This banner was
commissioned by Abundant Life Church of Carthage, Texas
"THE Word"
Comes from Isaiah 58:12
A recent prophecy was released to the Body for the new
year 2003, which says in part:
"The Lord is releasing unprecendented Kingdom authority
this year to open ancient gates, pathways and gates to
regions and nations. He is extending His scepter to His
Bride to join Him in preparing the earth for the
end-time harvest and the perfecting of His Bride before
He comes...
great authority the Lord is releasing to "open the
gates"and";ancient doors"of the Lord's purposes for
churches, cities, regions and nations. Begin to
proclaim "Let the ancient gates and everlasting doors
be opened!"
The Lord is opening the ancient doors and gates this
coming year that the King of Glory may come in!

A visual representation of the abundant life found by
abiding in The Vine.
"I am The Vine, ye are the branches..." bearing
fruit to all who are even afar off. This fruitful
life allures others to The Way, beckoning them to enter
in through the narrow gate. Mt.
7:13.
"Your gates shall be open day and night", Is 60:11
entrance accessible to the garden "enclosed"SS
4:12,
protected within the walls of salvation. Is
60:18
"May peace be within your walls"Ps 122:7
This banner is a "Restoration and Increase"banner
~
a banner of vision for The Abundant Life Church.
It is a prophetic look at the result of the operation
of the building, raising up, repairer, restorer
anointing.
As you obediently move in that restoration ministry,
truth is established, foundations are made sure,
walls of salvation are made strong and plumb to the
cornerstone, breaches are repaired, the path to
abundant life is restored! The ancient gateway to
Abundant Life is opened to the multitudes.
It is a vital ministry. The rewards shall be
great!
I pray that this banner encourages you, that you would
not grow weary in well doing.
Even as Nehemiah, you see the "bad situations, the
desolations, and the burned and waste places."
Yet, you say, "Arise, and build!" And you "set
your hands to the good work." Neh 2:17-18
This banner depicts increase ~ a fruitful
bough...
its branches run over a wall." Gen 49:22
Amen! So be it Lord!

Symbolism on the banner:
Colors ~
The background is iridescent, light reflective and is
symbolic of unity and right relationship.
Brown denotes humanity, the earth, Jesus'
humanity.
Green denotes new life, new beginnings, life!
Purple denotes royalty, Jesus' Kingship, kingdom
authority.
Elements ~
The wall is three visible stone courses high. The
#3 denotes that which is solid, real, substantial and
entire.
The gateway is an "open gate", made one with the wall,
it is in the typical fashion of ancient gates of
Palestine. The stones used for building were
chiefly hewn marble and sandstone. Ten stone
courses high then the keystone. The # 10 denotes
perfection of divine order, wanting nothing, number and
order are perfect.
The Vine is Jesus Christ and the fruitfulness of our
lives as we abide in Him... shown as running over the
wall.
Forty leaves on the banner represent new life.
The #40 denotes that a time of probation is over, it is
the action of grace leading to revival and
renewal...enlarged dominion.
Five grape clusters represent fruitfulness. The #
5 denotes Grace, divine strength made perfect in our
weakness... divine favor!
Gold pomegranate finials at rod ends symbolize the
priesthood and especially the fruit of the Spirit ~
love.
